General information, Koopmans 54
SantanA has proved herself as a strong and comfortabel sailingyacht all the years we sailed with her across the world. She is well insulated with a 2-component foam and therefore suitable for sailing in colder areas. Inside she is spacious, because of her extra wide hull and the large windows provide good daylight. You don't live in a cave and this makes it a nice ship to live on.

Considering the technical aspect, attention is paid to keep things simple and clear, because on longer journeys you probably have to do some repairing/maintenance yourself and that in itself is already a challenge. She is constructed for (reasonable) easy access when maintenance is needed and a small workshop is located in the engineroom.

Builded by Van Benthem Jachtbouw – Zwartsluis – the Netherlands and delivered in 2009.
Hull, superstructure, tanks and fixed dockhouse are aluminum. The hull has a CE A-III certificat. Windows in superstructure are reinforced double glass in aluminum framing (Rafa). Dockhouse is equipped with UV resistent polycarbonaat 8mm.
